3 of Cups opens in Olathe in 2026 — soon — in a room on Cedar Street with good windows and better neighbors.

The name comes from a card that means community, celebration, and shared work — the three things we want a bookstore to be. Not a warehouse. Not an algorithm. A room, with chairs, and books our neighbors ask for.

We'll stock about 4,000 titles at a time. Every one will have been read, or at least seriously considered, by someone on staff. If you can't find what you're looking for, ask — we'll know where it is, or we can have it here by Tuesday.
